The Isaac Nash Trust Ride - Anglesey to Highburton 2016

Back

myCloud Media are proud to support The Isaac Nash Trust again in 2016 for this year's memorial ride.

In a repeat of last year’s challenge, friends of The Isaac Nash Trust, will once again spend a weekend cycling 165 miles.

This year, however, the team of 25 will do the route in reverse – setting off from Aberffraw on Anglesey at 10am on Saturday 30th April and heading in the direction of their Huddersfield homes.

The first day will see the cyclists crossing the Menai Bridge and travelling along the north Wales coast towards Chester arriving at Halkyn on Saturday evening for a well-deserved rest.  On Sunday they will continue their journey, with a final push over the Pennines from Ashton-under-Lyne to arrive in Highburton at around 5pm that evening – weather and prevailing wind permitting.

Last year the cyclists raised more than £27,000, shared between the RNLI and the Isaac Nash Trust.  This year however the main focus is for the ride to be in memory of Isaac and further strengthen ties with the Aberffraw community.

Local firms have sponsored the team’s shirts, including Skelmanthorpe-based digital marketing company myCloud Media.  Director Tim Bennett, who is taking part again this year said, “We’re really looking forward to doing the route in the opposite direction, although we expect it to be just as challenging!  It’s a great way for us to continue raising awareness of the charity.”
